The prize contest of Japan Tobacco Industry(JT) has just ended today. I smoked a lot of "Peace" brand and sent about 7 postcards. Hope I can win a zippo lighter this time. About 5 years ago, there was a campaign of a beautiful pocket watch of "Peace" and asked JT if they were to open it again but the young lady on the phone did not even know the existence of such campaign. Working as a staff of Japan "Tobacco" Industry, I thought they must have more interests and Knowledge of tobacoo.
When I was a high school student and living alone, my neighbour womam made some "Ohagi", one of the Japanese original cake and brought them for me. She said "I have made a peice of mischief(Itazura)". This is one of the Japaneese original expression to modest one's act. Japanese are people of taste for the simple and quied(Wabi).
Stangely, I am being sleepy during the daytimes recently. It may be well that I, not working for a company, is sometimes reversed night and day. This is one of the demerits of working at home. --- I just had a phone call from a man who is very much interested in North Korea. We enjoyed a little chat about Korea and he told me that he really wanted to meet me. As I have broke my leg, we had to wait till the end of August.
I have a friend who is very much familiar with the Russian language and when I told him that I got 20 boxes of the cigarettes of Berarus, he told me that he would help with the translation. I recognized there were a lot of mistakes on the Russian alphabets. As he was being very busy, I had to wait for the translation, he taught me very nicely about the notes written on the boxes. I knew that there is no "I" in the language of Berarus. Russian language is still familiar in Berarus. --- I just received a very much detailed explanations of the cigarettes of Berarus from him. Have a look at http://csx.jp/~wrlz/berarus.html
Actually, I really hate dentists. Although I have some cavities in my teeth, it doesn't hurt and I hesitate to go to dentist. Fortunately, my teeth are not very dirty even I am a pipe smoker:-) I do know that it's better to get medical care before it's too late.
Recently, I am having an exchange with the new pipe-somker, under the nom de plume "Johnny de pipe". He also loves music as well as tobacoes like I. He first appeared in my guestbook in 10th June and told me that he also has a website on pipe tobacco. His website is at http://www.nona.dti.ne.jp/~hideman/pipe/
I dreamed a dream that when I visied the art club I was joining as an alumnus, it was flourishng with so many members. Most of the members were studying ceramic art the one I was not familior with. The chief allowed to smoke in the gallery and most of the members were somking "Peace" brand in the dream.
A raining day here in Jaoan Though I wanted to goout buying a pack of cigarette "Peace" which curently I somke, I am walking with the aid of of a cain as I have broke my leg last year. It's a little difficult for me to walk with putting up with an umbrella, I smoked one of the cigarettes from Berarus which my friend sent me.
As I have an habit to smoke when I woke up, today I smoked 1 cigarette of JT "Peace" fitst and then went into "Mellow Breeze Regular" with Poul Wonslow pipe, the one I like most in my 20 pipes. I use the pipes propery, some for Emglish-mixture. some for European mixture. Well, I think I woke up a little too early today. It's around 4 O' clock here in Japan...
My friend in Lithuania has just sent me the first 4 full-sheets of his country. I am willing to exhibit a collection of Lithuania in the future. The sheets are at http://page.freett.com/wrlz/miseiri_e.html
I wanna exhibit a collection of Lithuania in the future.
My friend sent me 20 boxes of the cigarettes of Berarus. It took so many time to scan them and to have tast of them. You can see them with impessions I smoked at http://csx.jp/~wrlz/berarus.html
--- There was a phone call from Dr.T.M. the leading light of the philately of North Korea. He told me that my German ATM collector friend may be interested in the stamp card issued from DPRKorea.
4 new cigarettes of Taiwan have arrived from my new friend in Taipei. Special thanks to Mr.K.R.! As I already have 4 "Chang Shou" cigarettes, I asked him to send me different ones. "Xin le yuan" was the one I liked most.
I have a German friend who collects ATM stamps. In Japan, two types of machines are at work-Omron and Fuji Electronics. As he told me he had been waiting for more than 2 years for Fuji ATMs, not easy to get, I sent a full set of them via EMS. As he may be a reliable collector(I think Germans are trust-worthy people), I sent the stamps before I received the money.
