Yes, yes, yes, I did write something everyday this month and last month:-) ("yes" is one of my favorite bands).
Mr.Woody came again. The cigars had arrived on the very same day. I let him try "PUNCH PUNCH PUNCH-(1,600Yen)" but he said he did not like it. He could not forget "COHIBA". Well well.
He broght a set of cards and taught me how to play. It was a first time I played cards in earnest. He taught me how to play "Seven bridge". It was very interesting.
He said he taught me how to play cards because it was I.
Then, we played together a little. He played the base guitar and I played the keyboard.
Well, "PUNCH" is a good cigar but maybe the one he smoked a bad one. Premium cigars differs one by one even among same brand.
He forgot his glasses to my room. He said he is coming tomorrow again.
I did write something everyday/B> this month and last month:-) Mr.Woody left a lot ot CDs including SYNCHRONICITY/THE POLICE.
He said he wants to play the7th song "Every Breath You Take" and gave me the score. I have to play the guitar part with keyboard.
Well, the keyboard has a sound of guitar but it's a little difficult as my right fingars do not reach from A to C. I am listening the same song again and again to be equipped with rhythm.
Woody said he wants to put the name "Practice of Beethoven" as the name of the band but I said it has to be "Daily Ludwig Practice" or something like that if you think of the grammar. "Practice of Beethoven" means "circumstances of Beethoven" too.
I love sweets, especially chocolates. Is it the reason why I have dental caries?
Chocolates are said to cover the mucosa of stomach. As chocolates and tobaccoes are uncongenial, I always provide something to drink when I smoke to reset my tongue. Cafes harmonise with tobaccoes. I heard JT "CABIN" has a flovour of chocolate or cocoa but there's only a little.
Another sweets(^_^;
There used to be a lot of cheap sweet shops(Dagashiya)" in Japoan. I yearn after for.
I was practicing keyboard and chatting all the day.
I was talking about "Kendama(a cup and ball)". It is a Japanese toy but not only a toy.. There used to be Japan Kendama Association and examination. The skill which putting the point the hole of the ball thought very difficult but this is only the first class. There is a formal Kendama for a match.
I have to finish my blog before my friend comes^_^
My father is going to speak in TV in Athens again. He has to explain "Kamikaze" and asked me somethings.
(1)What is "Kamikaze"? -"Kamikaze is the reappearance of the Kamikaze in the Mongolian Invasion(1274 & 1281)
(2)What is the difference between Islamic terrorism? -Soldiers of Kamikaze did not expect anything like haven like Islams. It was really a holy self-sacrifice.
(3)Why the white headband? -This is as same as the white cloth of self-disembowelment(seppuku). Kamikaze Soldier had resolution of death.
I am too busy to write a long sentence as I have to practice keyboard.
Mr.Woody came and we tried to play together(he brought his guitar and base) but the tuner did not work. We enjoyed cigars. A cigar of 1,700Yen but he understood the quality of 1,700Yen.
I let him read a comicart of Hiroki Mafuyu. I said " I don't allow a person who cannot draw to deny Hiroki Mafuyu". Moreover, comicarts do not need criticism. They are amusments. Hirohi Mafuyu is indeed faithful to comicarts and make us believe the possibility. Though he draws such a beautiful picture, he never let to astray.
Mr.Shigeyama's mail. He said his collection I translated in English is going to win Gold-Silver. He said it's because of the good translation..
No jpeg file today. I'll practice and listen to Ultravox again and again.
Mr."Woody" came yesterday and he brought me a very nice keyboard for me.
68,000Yen. He said he bought it at 40,000Yen but still very expensive. He came to my house and we first setup the keyboard and tested it. It worked perfectly. I want to become like Rick Wakeman..
Then, he let me hear ULTRAVOX. He lent me about 5 CDs but I'm going to listen the same CD 10 times and then go to the next CD.
I liked "VIENNA" very much. The keyboard is in active both in the sound of piano and synthesizer. I tried to sing it but very difficult. I really want to play this song.
We were the first meeting but became like old friends.
I am highly motived after 2 years. My mother said she will bring me a text of piano. I'm going to practice keyboard.
I could not sleep as I was in a happy frame of mind. What with the drum? I've never had an experience of acting like a band and don't know how to welcome a new member. He said he will do something. We can use a studio somewhere.
He is coming to my house today again. I'll let him smoke a real cigar. Yesterday, he tried a drycigar and said he liked it. He said I am a successor of life(^_^; I let hem read my comicart and oil painting and pointed out my dark side. I can't change it but he said it is alright. He said I must see the sea. He studies psychology.102 spam mails yesterday.
I went into what is called "Chat-room" and searched for "chat 30s" and found a nice place. I was having a normal chat but a guy called "Woody II" came and we talked about music. He said why don't we start a band and we became congenial freinds and he is going to visit my home today around 3PM. I've never acted like a band but he said he will lend his keyboard. Well, I've played a piano a little. I wanted to play a guitar like Steve Howe but let's be like Rich Wakeman. or Emerson. I will write a song too. Maybe in Japanese but also English.
He said he is not very familiar with "yes" so I'll show him the video of "ABWH"
He said we have to quarrel to become a good band. An artist conflicts with an artist so it's only natural.
We decided to make Ikebukuro the baseplace. I drank too much yesterday. I didn't notice the first phone call from him around 8AM..
He will come to my house today. I can't wait for meeting a new friend. He never tried a cigar and wants to try so I'll let him try.. "COHIBA" is the most splendid but if the first person chose "COHIBA", it's like " You don't know nothing but Ferrari as a sportscar" so I'll let him try "Montecristo" or something. "PUNCH" is also preferable but there is no "PUNCH" in my humidor now.
My friend went to Living Shop Ando yesterday. She bought a pipe rest and tobaccoes. A lot of messages in my guestbook yesterday.
I broke my left leg last year and it still has a gripping pain:-( I remember when I first broke my leg. In an ambulance, I was asked my name, the postal address and the phone number from an ambulance man and brought to an emergency hospital. My real name "Ninomiya Koji" writes like this.
It's very difficult to explain the last character "ji" as it is seldom used. It's a character meaning "succeeder" but few people knows this character, so I always explain as follows. There is a character "mouth" at the upper left, "volume(book)" at the lower left and the right side is "govern".
Retiring to the bed alone, I had hallucinations. I dreamed a lot of strange dreams or even not aware if I was awake or asleep. A nurse told me something like this often happens when I am in bed all the time. As I could not eat right after the operation, I had an intravenous drip. I still take medicines to stop the pain and still walking with an aid of a cane...
Until the broken bone was fixed, the doctor did not allow me to smoke and it was really a pain. About a month later, the doctor finally allowed me to smoke and I went to the shop in the hospital. I asked "Do you have CHERRY?", and the answer was "No". This is a minor brand.
So I bought "HOPE", one of the cigarettes I like(I think the highest cigarette in its quality in Japan is "Peace").
Actually, I wanted to smoke pipe tobacco but the non-smokers my family don't understand which is which in my room. I need a pipe, tobacco, companion, matches, pipe-rest and pipe-cleaners.
I saw the blog of Aoyama stamp dealer. It's more than 8 years since Mr.Aoyama started his job. I want to say "I've been a customer from the very beginning of Aoyama Stamp" in the future, so please continue being a stamp dealer! There was a message about "Lucky Strike" in my guestbook. Mr.J. said he bought a Lucky Strick like a French window. I immediatly went to my local tobacco store but the same thing was not available. I wonder if it is a limited good of specific area.
Well, I bought Saltydog, Screwdriver and "Peace".As a matter of course, my computer copes with both Japanese and English. I press command+space to turn from Japanese to English, but if I forget it, it becomes "Tesulitsu" when I want to input "wrlz". Funny. My computer also copes with Korean so it changes Japanese-English-Korean and then Japanese. Mac OSX also has Hebrew fonts but I got rid of them.
Too many photoshop files in my harddisc. I copied them to CD-Rs and eliminated. I had designed a lot. I found my drawing when I was a high school student. Audiovisual. Headphone.
More than 10 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a kid. I've being lazy with my "own" art recently. Well well...my tools for oil painting are kept in the lumber room. My chance to start oil paintings was Paul Cezanne(1839-1906). I was very impressed and became a member of the art party. I liked Dali but the arts of Cezanne have something special and I really wanted to draw a picture like him. The first one I tried was a Bovid sketch. I can't show you this first one. Too poor. I drew 3 or 4 and tried again. This is the next one.
Cubizm. I was interested in too. I draw a one like this poor in skill.
No, I'm lazy now. Computer graphics are easier than oil paintings. I can repeat "redo" filter and don't have to wait for the pigment to dry.
Woke up around 7AM and smoked "Gauloises Caporal", and a cup of coffee. Then, ate my breakfast and went into "Mellow Breeze Regular" pipe tobacco. I am too lazy to go out for a pack of "Peace". My back bone hurts recently when I woke up. I don't know why. I look back and check the very little miracles left behind updated. Just finished the Korean chapter.
Had a little chat about placing Japan Post under private management. Once there was an experiment that putting bar-codes at the 4 corners of definitives.
These stamps are forgotten and noone pays attention to them.
I was looking into my collections and catalogues.
I was not so stupid to buy this in 2000,
but was a little "crazy" to buy these "crazy" panes(^_^;
Australia also.
I can't put them on album leaves. What am I going to do with them? Buy some frames?2 staffes came from Komone. I introduced my ferret.
I was given 4 cigars from my friend but not clear with the Montecristo. I don't know which one they are.
I sent a mail to a smoker very familiar with cigars to ask which size they are.
There was a message from a young girl who wants to start smoking and did not know how to enjoy tobaccoes. I explained that tobaccoes can be claassified in 5. -Cigarettes -Pipe tobaccoes -Cigars -Shredded tobaccoes -Snuffs
Maybe she wants to smoke cigarettes. I explained how to enjoy cigarettes.Well...the entry fee for Swan River Stamp Show 2005 came back.
They said it cannot be allowed when posted. What can I do? Shall I visit Australia? I've never traveled Australia. It seems a little interesting. I heard that Australian English is different. EM, I can try if my Irish-English will work in Australia.I got a mail from Mr.T.Y. who is very familiar to Russian. I asked the Russian written on the pipe tobacco-MacBaren Uncle Louie Whisky. He said I look back and check the very little miracles left behind is interesting. Im happy:-) I became fond of Russia and wanted to write a story based on Russia. I'm writing another fiction in paralleled with.
The impression I smoked it is here.34 spam mails. Not too many today. Yahoo! mail isolates spam mails and very convenient. I don't use tzdr@land.linkclub.or.jp anymore. Please send mails to mailto:wrlz@yahoo.co.jp.
I woke up around 8AM and smoked "Peace" today, and a cup of coffee.
A collection of Israel.
Somehow I bought it. Very cheap. It was arranged on the illustrated album, maybe made in Israel.
The leaves were printed on both sides. All OH and some stamps are missing. I don't really have an idea what to do with this collection. I can't read Hebrew. Well, Mac OSX has 3 Hebrew fonts.
This is how to write my name "Wrlz" in Hebrew.
I asked an Jewish man selling silver accessories the corresponding of Hebrew and English alphabets. No vowel and writes from right to left. The pronunciation of the God "YHWH" was lost when Jerusalem collapsed.
My collection arrived to Australia finally.
Yesterday, one of the staff who came from Komone was a lady from Okinawa. She was also interested in stamps. I told her that the chance for I to collect stamps was a Ryukyu stamp. After having my pulse and blood pressure measured she said why don't we go out and have a lillte walk. I was just out of the gas for lighter so we walked to the convenience store with an aid of cane. Then, we came back and I showed her my collection of North Korea.
I had a chat about tobacco and earthquake at my guestbook. There was a long earthquake yesterday in Japan. If one of the city was annihilated, would tobaccoes be brought as relief items? Moreover, can we say "not cigarretes, I want pipe tobaccoes"? Then we reached to the idea of Go smoking. It is a big network having many members all around Japan. When the earthquake came, the member who lives at the most close to the stricken area can buy and bring tobaccoes etc. to the member. I posted this idea to the guestbook of Go smoking.
I enjoyed "Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas". This is a cigar I bought before leaving the cigarbar. I always wake up very early. I ate and put off the air cleaner to be fed up with the fragrance of cigar. I have to study more about cigars. I was told that I can enjoy the transition of taste and indeed I could enjoy in 4 steps. At first, there was a gentle acidity. Then became spicy. Then a bitterness in good meaning which matches with cafe. At the end, it became very mild. About 40 minutes.
I made a new leaf of the cigars I smoked.
This is the 10th page. I'll try to enlarge this collection to 60 pages.
I saw the first page but could not remember which was the first premium cigar I enjoyed. Maybe "San Christobal de la Habana". I was really impressed and bought my own humidor in the next day I went to the cigarbar.
"COHIBA cigarette". Very reasonable cigarette of the blend of cigar.
I don't really like "Romeo Y Julieta" cigarette. Don't know the reason why it has a name of the same cigar.
I could not find my seal yesterday so haven't sent the money to Aoyama stamp dealer yet.. Stamps I ordered to Koie stamp dealer have already arrived. I've already payed for them.
2 staffs will come from Komone today, around 1PM.
Well, I've spent too much for tobaccoes.. I'll enjoy JT"Asuka" for a while that I bought a lot before the internal production ended. I bought JT"Asuka" 5 cartons before JT stopped the production of pipe tobaccoes 2 years ago.
Stamps? I have nothing special to write about philately in those days. Pardon.
I enjoed "Golden Blend Chocolate" pipe tobacco too.My impression of "Golden Blend Vanilla" was inserted on the website of tobacco store.Here. Please use nifty or Excite translation service to read.. I posted my impression of "Chocolate" today. There was a small earthquake around 11:55AM in Tokyo. I did not put on the TV so I don't know the seismic intensity.
15th August is the day when the war ended. We must not forget this tragedy.
358 access to All about tobaccoes yesterday. As my friend gave me 4 cigars and I bought "Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas", my humidor is full with cigars after a long time. I have to be careful with the temperature and humidity. Well, I've spent too much for tobaccoes in these days.
I got a phone from mint-chan and she said she bought a new pipe and "Rum Royal". I told her how to break-in and have a look at some websites including mine.
As these three days were lively, I'm a little lonesome.. 2 staffs will come from Komone tomorrow.
My local store is going to have a 3 days holiday, so I've bought 3 screwdrivers. Only 100Yen for one cup of alcohols. Very reasonable. We have a "Bon" hodiday at the middle of August in Japan. I have to send money to Aoyama stamp dealer today. The post office opens.
I have enjoyed 3 cigars in these 3 days. Wow.
What with the "Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas"? Shall I enjoy it today? I was told that I can enjoy the transition of taste even it is small. I expect.
The collection of Korea I sent via EMS hasn't arrived yet.
The stampshow is close. Please hurry!
The membership card of the cigarbar I lost will be ready at the middle of September. I think I will go to the same bar before they will send it by post. Inviting one of my friends(girl).
My friend left some pipe tobaccoes before he left. "Golden Blend" was the one I have never tried. I smoked it 3 bowls and posted my impression article to "Sakuranbo" tobacco store.
I had a really luxurious day yesterday. We went to a cigarbar but at first, we used a taxi as I have broke my leg. We went to "Kagaya" tobacco store in Shinjuku and my friend bought a pipe of Stanwell etc. Then we went to the cigarbar in Shibuya. Saturday evening was lively. As I have lost a membership card, I asked for a reissue.
Well, I can smoke pipe tobaccoes but really new to premium cigars so trying different brand everytime for study. It's after 1 and a half years going to a cigarbar for me.
I asked the adviser that I had enjoyed "Punch Blackprince" and is there a cigar close to it and I'm not sticky about whether it's Cuba or not. I was showed some choices with detailed explanations and decided to enjoy "Vegas Robaina Famosos". What with the drink? We were offered Mohito which matches with cigar very much. The cigar was wonderful. In the first seconds, there were a little acidity and consistent rich flavour. Took about 50 minutes. Then I started smoking pipe tobacco. As the tobacco I brought was "Mellow Breeze Regular" I asked the bartender for a sweet cocktail "without" whine. He brought me a rich taste cocktail. Wonderful. My friend started smoking pipe tobacco too. He smoked "Dunhill MyMixture965" but the air conditioning of the bar is perfect. The flovour of Latakia did not reach to my nose even we were sitting on a same table. No problem. I lile the fragrance of Latakia. The one I like most is JT"Asuka" rich in Latakia. After 1 bowl of pipe tobacco, my friend said "why don't we try for another cigar?". Wow, smoking 2 cigars in one day is really extravagant! We went to the humidor and chose the second cigars. As aforesaid, I am trying different brand everytime for prosecution of studies, I asked for a cigar that I've never tried.. I was offered two choices. "Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas" or "Dunhill Robust". The cigar adviser told me they are both gentle and suitable for first cigar. Waver in my decision and I chose "Dunhill Robust" and another same cocktail. I liked it very much. Maybe I should have enjoyed this one first and then "Vegas Robaina Famosos". About 45 minutes. My freind chose "Bolivar", a heavy one. Then I asked for a fruity cocktail.
We enloyed about 3 hours and asked for a taxi. Before leaving the bar, I bought "Rafael Gonzalez Petit Coronas". I'll try it a few days after. I have kept the rings for a collection. When the album will get full with 60 pages, I can speak about cigars, I think.
We went back home and worked with pipes. I started to set the carbons and my friend stated putting carbon liquid to his pipes. I never knew the existence of such a liquid. I saw the liquid dried and it seemed like a real carbon.
I had a phone call from P-chan and he said he missed the train and wants to stay in my house. I told him it's alright and he said he will come around 1AM.
2 staffs will come from Komone Rehabilitation Centre around 1PM.. A different lady from the last time. She was interested in my ferret "Regle".
CHECK LIST(FULLY ILLUSTRATED) DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF KOREA (1966-1975) arrived from Dr.Taizo Maeda.
It lists the eliminated stamp of anti-US struggle.
Korean Stamp Catalogue of Pyong Yang does not list this stamp.Yesterday, I couldn't find my wallet when I was going out for a pack of cigarette in the evening. My room was in a mess with catalogues and albums on the floor as I was working with the collection of Korea and Lithuania. I found it under one of my albums.
6 more blank leaves and 2 more pinzettes and perforation gauges arrived from Aoyama stamp dealer. 6996Yen this time.My friend said he will spare me one "COHIBA Edicion Limitada 2004". I just had a phone call around 9AM. He said he will come to my house around 10:30AM.I finished the 11th stage of "War State Improved".P-chan came to my house around 11AM and brought me some premium cigars. He told me that he is very new to pipe tobaccoes and I gave him a tin of JT"Asuka" and he gave me 4 cigars. He showed me his pipes and asked me to how to put tobaccoes in the pipe. "Please let me show the method of teacher" he said. Embarrassed. I showed him the step by step method and let him smoke JT"Asuka".
He was also interested in Progressive Rocks. We enjoyed a chat about English, French, Italian Rocks and watched the live video of ABWH together.
"Asuka II" pipe tobacco had already arrived to my local store. 100grams with a silly caution on the tins.
I compared the two. JT"Asuka" and MacBaren's "Asuka" using a same pipe. I first smoked JT"Asuka" and remembered its taste, sweetness, acidity and Latakia, a triple threater. Then opened "Asuka Premium". ...It's different. The fragrance of Latakia is weak and the colour of tobacco seem different. Well I can't make my final decision till I smoke it. I used the same pipe. No, it's different. The strength of JT"Asuka" was a little lower than "heavy", "Asuka Premium" is a little higher than "medium. There is no sweetness of Latakia. I repented of spending 5,400Yen for tobaccoes which were "not" Asuka but let's think. If I really want a flavour of Latakia, there is "Dunhill MyMixture965" gem. This is a pipe tobacco of Denmark, the country I like. Restraining acidity maybe the blend thought of MacBaren. If I don't nervously compare the two and rate it as a different tobacco, it is a refind mix. Well, I'll give 80 points to "Asuka Premium" grading on a scale of 100 points. My impression is inserted here. Use nifty or Excite translation services to reak.
I saw a message on the guestbook. He said he enjoyed khsier tobacco.
I am not very familiar with khsier tobaccoes. I only have 1 cheap khsier and no tobaacco tray.
Shredded tobacco is our own culture in Japan. It is very strong and we do not draw deeply on our tobacco. There used to be more brands but "Koiki" is the only left. "Yamabuki" is not produced anymore.Another ATM cover arrived from my friend in Taiwan.
I haven't made up my mind whether I shall visit Taipei 2005 philatelic exhibition.
Just received the Vol.60 No.1 of International Society of Japanese Philately and all-coloured The Variant Color Datestamps of Japan yesterday. 130pages.
They were much more interesting than Yushu of JPS. How come the membership fee is only $12.00 a year?
"Asuka II" did not arrive to my local tobacco store yesterday. My friend had a same experience when he asked for a stock of "Dunhill MyMixture965" It was because the caution note was not ready. It's unconvincing.
My left leg hurts from yesterday. don't know why.
2 women from the Komone Rehabilitation Centre came to my house yesterday. They took my bood pressure and counted my pulse. We enjoyed a chat around 1 hour about my pipes, computers and ferret.
They are coming on Friday again.
290 access to All about tobaccoes yesterday. They said they also saw my websites. I was asked to help with the computer but I am a Macintosh user(^_^; I told them a little about HTML.
After they left, I enjoyed the COHIBA premiun cigar to celebrate by birthday.
Now, let's smoke "COHIBA Edicion Limitada 2001" kept in the humidor to celebrate.
"Asuka II" pipe tobacco will arrive to my local tobacco store today. Though I still have a stock of JT"Asuka", I'll try the new "Asuka".
No reply from a collector in UK who collects kingfishers.
402 access to All about tobaccoes yesterday. Thinking of collecting data on vending machine of cigarettes. I don't know the very detail.
I am recently playing "War State Improved" of PlayStaiion again.
Weapons of Russia this time and no annihilated corp.2 ladies of the Konone rihabilitatiion station are coming to my house at 1PM today. I cleaned my room as it was in a mess because I was working with my collection of Korean stamps and too many albums and catalogues on the floor.
I found a copy of the bulletin when I exhibited the Republic of Moldova and Transdniestria in 2001.
I sent a mail to the finance company for the man in Africa this morning.
Smoked the last one of "Peace Aroma Menthol". I'm not going to buy this cigarette again.
Got several greetings from my friends abroad to celebrate my birthday:-)
Looking forward to receiving the journals of the Australian Philatelic Society and Japan-Japan.Received a registered mail from China around 11 AM. It was a birthday present from my friend in China.
The 9th August is my birthday I will welcome a present for me(*^_^*) This date is the same date as an atomic bomb was dropped to Nagasaki. Don't forget. mailto:wrlz@yahoo.co.jp
Remade the 4th leaf of Korea and I sent them to Australia.
The burden is off my shoulders. I sent a photocopy to Mr.Homma.
The dragonflies are on the way to the collector in Belgium too.
Now, let's get started with my own job.A member of USSR Camera said he is going to travel Slovenia. I asked him to send me a letter by poste restante.Received a mail from a stranger in Africa.
