I found the Bible written in English I was using when I lived in Ireland.
In fact, I am still a Christian. My mother brought me to a church when I was 7. My middle name is "Isaac".
I am not very well informed about the Old Testament. Isaac is the son of Abraham(Genesis 21-2.). Abram became Abra"h"am.(Genesis 17-5).
I was taught that the treatment of Sinai is the core of The Old Testament(Exodus19-24).
I have some favorite words in The New Testament; John8-7 "Whichever man of you has committed no sin may throw the first stone to her" Mark2-17 "I have not come to call respectable people, but outcasts". Matthew26-40 "How is it that you three were not able to keep watch with me even for one hour?" Mark12-37 David himself called him "Lord"; so how can Messiah be David's descendant?" Mark2-25, John 17-1 etc.
I was watching the movie "Screaming love, at the centre of the world" on TV.
It was a long time I watched TV. Maybe I shall watch the things everybody says "it's good".
I am having a habit of midday nap recently. As a matter of course, the cigarettes don't decrease if I am sleeping. I was always going for a pack of cigarette in the evening but sometimes neglect. I was practicing keyboard and learned this song.
Well, this is not really an Evenements heureux. I bought 3 "Paul Mall"
"PAUL MAUL BOX" wasn't very bad. I did not be conscious of tar 12mg.
I used to study Viestamese. Click to enlarge.
I like learning languages and maybe it is an inheritance from my father. He can speak more than 8 languages. We call him "Golgo 13 who cannot shoot a gun".
When I was living in Ireland and was going to an Irish school, I was told to use an English-English dictionary, not English-Japanese.
I was told to use an English-English dictionary when I met an unknown word. For example both "cloud" and "crowd" have meanings "group of people". Japanese cannot distinguish the sound between "L" and "R". My father was severe and did not allow me to go to an American school not Japanese school but go to an Irish school and make Irish friends. Well, schoolboys of Ireland were very friendly. I played together and even quarreled with them but was never tormented by the reason that I am yellow.
One of them who is reading my blog everyday said my blog is interesting. Might I'll miss d-line(5-7-5)
The poetry of Japan consisting with 5words-7words-5words are called "Haiku". I remember it was introduced at the English class in Ireland.
Sir Water Scott's poetries are very short. Refrains of 4 sentences.
There was also a teaching of Greek Myths and Legends. The teaching material was a picture book illustrated by Rodney Matthews.
We say "Stand up, attention, salute" at the start of the teaching but in Ireland(maybe most of the Christian countries in Europe) prays. "In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit..." This is the only prayer written in the Bible.
I have collected a data of the vending machines of cigarettes. Very special thanks to the tobacco store I.
This time, I had a chance to take photos of 5 vending machines. -Kubota -Glory -Fuji -Shibaura -Fujitaka service
This type has only one keyhole.
2 keyholes.
At least, the shopkeeper opend the machinge for me!
Please see the inside.
Can you see that cigarettes are put both at the inner and this side.
This one has no inner. The machines of Glory do not have the inner.
This is a stopper that keeps away the cigarettes to fall off. When supplementing cigarettes, you have to pull this stopper to this side.
This is a vending machine only for "Marlboro" families. Marlboro has a catalogue of different strentgh plus menthol so it's easy to approach and very popular worldwide.
A young lady who visited my guestbook told me that she was to start smoking cigarettes as it has diet effect. I told her that it is out of balance, it has only a little effect to save your appetite, and the risk of cardiac infarction and brain infarction increases. The merit of smoking is that it has sedation, nicotine-bus which activates brain, breast cancer is checked. Then, she started smoking "Salem Pianissimo".
I remember the feeling when I smoked a cigarette for the first time in my life. When I lived in Ireland, my family took a trip to Sligo. There, people who still speaks a language of Celt existed and gentlemen smoking pipe tobaccoes drinking Guinness seemed very attractive. I had a hankering after the tobaccoes. In the feast of the art party, I was offered a cigarette from my friend but became tense as I had never smoked before. A girl offered me a menthol brand "SomeTimeLIGHTS" to me and said "Just breath in without putting a light" and I felt something delightful and felt it might be OK. Then, I lit it and smoked. It was all right, moreover the cooling flavour was very pleasant.
A few weeks after, I saw a pouch written "Dublin" at Ginza. As I had lived in Ireland, I could not ignore this tobacco and asked a clerk "Excuse me, I wanna smoke that Sweet Dublin over there but what shall I get my tools ready?". Yes, he chose my first pipe for me. I am still smoking this "Sweet Dublin" pipe tobacco.
I have tried several foreign cigarettes but they differ in their taste. My cigarette collection. The one I liked most is Prima Nostalgy of Russia.
Taiwan and South Korea are very near to Japan. They adopt charcoal filters and blend of Virginia and Orient base. I've bought a lot of cigarettes of PRO China but I didn't like them except "Liushuiyin" with a charcoal filter. This is very close to "Mild Seven" of Japan.
Once, an impostor of Liushuiyin appeared on the market. It was detected in 2002 and the original and fake can be distinguished having a look at the bar-codes. Fake.
Original.
Mr.Kenji Kikuchi offered me the fake box and I've kept it carefully.
I remember how I felt when I first enjoyed a premium cigar in my life. One of the cigar-bars I like most is le Connaisseur. This is the first cigar-bar I went to. I went out with a map on the website but get lost, so I made a phone call to the bar. The man on the phone told me the way very neatly and even said "I'll be standing at the front of the bar and wait for you". Very kind! I found my way to the bar and sat on a seat. I was given a menu, but as I'd never smoked a premium cigar, I could not understand which is which just reading the notes. So I was invited to the humidor room and amazed with hundreds of cigars kept in the right humidity. I told the young lady "I am very new to premium cigars, is there a cigar like this or that?" and she chose some options for me. On the name-card it said "cigar-adviser". I showed the cigar I chose to the bartender and he gave me an advise of the drink which matches to my cigar. I was offered cappuccino or caffe con latte as a little bitterness of cappuccino matches with the fragrance of cigars. I was lent a cigar-cutter and was taught how to enjoy a cigar very politely. I was impressed. What a luxury are the cigars! I immediately bought my own humidor and a cigar-cutter.
Well, premium cigars cost at least 1,000Yen so I can't smoke one everyday, but pipe tobaccoes are economical than cigarettes. For example, if you smoke 1 box cigarettes of 280Yen every day, you are spending 1,960Yen every week. On the other hand, you can keep 850Yen pouch of pipe tobacco for about 6 days. No acid secondhand smoke, no damage to your respiratory organs as you don't breath in the smoke into your lungs like cigarettes. I've tried a lot of pipe tobacco brands and there are 11 tobaco-jar which keep tobaccoes in the right humidity now.
There's something wrong with my scanner either. No problem when I scan a picture in 150dpi. but a strange noise when scanning in 180dpi. I've just counted the numbers of album leaves I've scanned, jpeg files and photoshop files and the number exceeded 5,000, not including the jpeg and gif files in my websites. Actually the scanner I'm using now is a second one so I don't think I've used it more than 5,000 times but maybe I've shorten it's life.
I usually listen British rock music but there is a one song I like of Japan. It songs Convey my never facing away hot feeling in the song That cannot be let my desire be known Gazing each other and let this emotion deliver With bright HEART & SOUL HEART & SOUL HEART & SOUL
My favorite album is "Close to the Edge" of "yes". Jon Anderson sings very beautifully and the guitar of Steve Howe is amazing! I have used the design in my summer greeting card.
Has anyone seen a cinema "Macross"? This is a story of a war between aliens and earthians but the aliens did not have a "culture". The heroeine was a singer and her song brouth the war to an end.
I was chatting and a guy who is interested in stamps came. I showed him my articles, including the one which explains why I started collecting bats on stamps..
He noticed the word "Shibusawa Tatsuhiko" and "Marquis de Sade". Mr.J and I made a new room. "Sodome" and talked about Sade.
He said he hasn't read Les 120 Journees de Sodome ou l'Ecole du libertinage. I told him there are at least 2 books of the biography of Sade, including the one written by Sibusawa Tatsuhiko.
There is a cinema of Les Malheurs de la Vertu, ou La Nouvelle Justine. 1969. It is interesting but I don't like the happy ending. In Les Malheurs de la Vertu. Justine was struck dead by lightning.
Donatien-Alphonse-Francois de Sade, born in 2 June 1740, no portrait.
Today, we went to a Chinese restaurant to celebrate our father's retirement. There is a very nice hotel in Hikarigaoka(very close the place where I live). As I had broke my leg, we used a taxi.
We handled the card we signed before the lunch comes..
This is a card my mother bought in Ireland and kept it secret for 20years.
4 of us.
As my father is no longer a public servant(MOFA), my insurance changed. This is the new one. I have a real cell of "Magical Talruto-kun" My father and I talke about the names of the states. The real name of UK is"United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". In Ireland, they call their country "Iraland" and it includes Northern Ireland. In UK, they callit "Republic of Ireland" and Northern Ireland istheri territory. Macedonia also has a difficulty in the name of the country.
Why don't we adopt a wordy name? The real name of Japan is "Emperor's Northward Islands and Hokkaido and Honshu and Shikoku and Kushu and Okinawa and Okinotorishima and Ogasawara Islands Takeshima and Senkaku Islands people's state".
We are going to a restaurant to celebrate my father's retirement. My mother had bought a very nice card and kept it secret. We all signed it and going to hand it to my father. She bought it in Ireland and kept it for 20years.
I could not drink alcohols and could not understand their tastes. The banquette of the companies was a headache of I.
It was at a cigarbar that I felt liquors are tasty in the first time of my life. When I was smoking a cigar, a bartender(r cigaradvisor) asked me should he make a cocktail that matches with the cigar I was smoking. I answered "yes" and the cocktail was wonderful. Since then, I understood that liquors are nice and I started drinking dryMoscow-mule or screwdriver everyday, except Thursdays.
There was a message in my guestbook by a lady who wants to smoke but been troubled with that cigarettes chokes her. Mr.C has already answered it. He said the she will get used to it and the most important thing is whether she likes tobaccoes of not. I thing it was a witty.
I am recently playing "Shogi"-a Japanese traditional chess on the Internet(Yahoo! Japan)
Woody came to my house around 13PM. and we played "Tekken2", the game he lent me. He even left a book of "Tekken" for me.
I am recently enjoying talking with ghjazz using Yahoo! messenger.
My father came back from Athens. I showed him my cigars and he taught me how to read Spanich. They don't pronounce "H" and the sounds of "B" and "V" are not classified. My father can spead old Greek, modern Greek, French, Italian, Spanish, German and English.
There is a cigar called "Bolivar" and we pronounce it "Bolivar" but we can say "Bolibaru".
There was a surprise when I went to my local post office. 4 ATM covers and 4 from Poland had arrived. Very special thanks to Mr.K.R. and Mr.T..
They all look the same but click to enlarge. They are all different.
Poland also.
I have told the post office to stamp the arrival marks clearly.
I have downloaded Yahoo! UK Messenger. My ID is "wrlz2". I was talking with a collector in Singapore. He was looking for the "used" of C1245(Sakura number).
This stamps was issued in 2 different face values. 60Yen and 62Yen. It was the time when consumption tax was adopted in Japan.
I got a mail from Mr.N and he said he got one cigarette of DPR Korea(North Korea)! He said he wants to visit my house on Friday but I am not on this Friday. I told him Monday or Tuesday is alright. I've never tried a lot of cigarettes but only 2.
There used to be a stamp dealer Tabata Stamp. I liked it very much. Tabata Stamps was specialized in China and Korea. Everytime I ring the door phone, I was invited to the living room with a cup of coffee. There was a real comfortableness. The shopkeeper always said "You don't have to hurry, Why don't you smoke before having a look at the albums?". There were a lot of pipes in the room. once, the shopkeeper showed me his collection of cigarettes worldwide, including Korea.
A staff from Komone came around 13PM. We walked to a convenience store and it was very hot/ There was a phone call from my mother in Athens. Yesterday's election of Japan was even headlined in Greece.
Then, I was chatting with a girl, nom de plue "Mermaid". She said she was inconstant in man. I told her my case(my girlfriend died). As we could not talk such theme in a chatroom, we sent mails each other.
Then, I was watching a DVD of Ultravox my friend left for me.
There was an election of the members of the house of representatives today in Japan. The one of the focal points was weather to put Japan Post under private management.. As for I, I oppose against private post offices. Putting Japan Post under private management is a forsaking the weeks. For example, there are more than 24,000 post offices in Japan. This means everybody can get the services of post and bank even you live in a depopulated area. The post offices in depopulated areas of going around of the houses of the elderlies without a single human tie. Baillie points typed mails for blind person is free now. Will a private company send only one postcard posted from Hokkaido(the northern extremity of Japan) to Okinotorishima(the southern end of Japan) in 50Yen? This is why I oppose to putting Japan Post under private management. For the postal deposit, it will go into 60,000,000,000Yen black in 2016. If it will be put under private, it will go into 10,000,000 red.
I did go to the election at the evening but as I don't have a party to support, I voted a blank.
There was a message from a collector in Singapore around 9PM. He was looking for a used of C1245. This stamp has 2 face values-60Yen and 62Yen. He was looking for 62Yen.
Then, I was chatting with a lady under the nom de plume "Shippo". She asked I to how to study English. I told her that she can postpone hearing but study the grammar and lean a lot of vowels.
I bought(won) a big collection of the former USSR countries at the auction of Sandafayre in 2001. This was the chance for me to start collecting stamps of Russia. The collection included the Kiev overprints. There used to be many illegal overprints after the collapse of USSR, but the only effective overprints are Saint Peterburg overprint and Kiev overprints. Only #6025 is missing(Maybe he of she had pulled it out). Can anybody help me? I am ready to pay in US$, Euro or JPYen.
I don't have the former one... These overpirnts are fakes.
As they did not include 3 Baltic countries, I shall wrestle with. Fortunately, I have a friend in Lithuania. The one I collect enthusiastic is the Republic of Moldova. I bought a Scott album for them and made an enty to a philatelic exibition with the stamps of Moldova, showing the first stamps not listed in Scott(before independence), covers, varieties and errors.
I have made entries to philatelic exhibition for several times but could not crack the Bronze barrier. I won Silver-Bronze with my collection of Australian Antarctic Territory and made a step-up showing every FDC of 4 post offices and FFCs.
I also bought a collection of the Kingdom of Yemen, including the first 3 stamps.
A professor of Tokyo University explained me how to read the alphabets.
I woke around 5 AM, a little early, as I had an engagement at 9AM. There was a phone call from Mr.Woody around 7AM and he said he is already at Narimasu. It was lucky that I was awake. He lefe an album of NENA.

A staff from Komone came around 13PM. We walked to the convenience store for a pack of milk and tomato juice. An membership card of a cigarbar had arrived.
After they left, I worked a little and started chatting. I made friends with a man from Korea who is studying Japanese. We exchanged our e-mail addresses.
I tried to copy the keyboard part of VIENNA/ULTRAVOX with my ears. I'm not very confident but it might be like this.
I went for a pack of cigarette around 17PM. I had begged for collecting data of the vending machines. The shopkeeper told me 9AM tomorrow is alright. I'll bring my camera take photos of the insides of the vending machines of cigarettes.

I woke up around 5 AM and was chatting. There was a room "Typhoon...OTL". I entered into this room and we were talking like as follows-"The window glass is in danger", "I bought up a lot of precooked noodles", etc ~_~
A staff from Komone came at 13PM and we waited for Mr..N who was to come around 14PM. Mr.N arrived at 14PM without getting lost. He has been a stranger until then but my impression is that he is a sincere gentleman. He was wearing a man's three point suit in this Summer.
He really didn't know about philately. I showed him my collection and explained what are mounts, and ATMs.
He left my home around 16PM and he had called on I with a present. It was a sweet. He had read my blog and knew that I love sweets.. He is meticulous about small courtesies. I gave him the CD-ROM "La Philatelie Vostok" I made. It's better to give this CD-ROM who really likes and understands Korea.
I was chatting and Sara came. I made a new room and talked with Sara between her and I. We talked a lot about the Bible. She was a student of Christians' school and knows a lot. I still can't understand the meaning of Luke 4-24. 2 other people came into the room and we explained that the birth rear of Christ is not A.D.1 but B.C.4. I really enjoyed talking with Sara. My Holyname is Isaac and Sara was the wife of Abraham and the mother of Isaac.
An international parcel arrived from Lithuania. There was a lot of Lithuanian cigarettes!
Typhoon is coming to Japan again but the rain stopped once at the afternoon. It's like the lull before a storm.. I went out for a pack of cigarettes before the rain gets hard.
2 staffs came from Komone. Everything is fine. We made a phone call to Athens and my mother said she will buy the ATMs of Greece and a T-shirt of Che Guevara for me. I told her to send ATM covers by Poste Restante.
I was chatting in the Internet. a boy who is interested in tobacco came and I made a new room and explained the history of tobacco.
There was a phone call from Mr.N who is interested in North Korea. He wanted to visit my house and I said 7th September is alright.
Got very sleepy and went to bed before 10PM.. No picture today.
