A set of illustrated postcards commemorating the new constitution was issued in 27 Dec.1946.
This was a set of three 15Sen postcards sold at 3Yen. Kawabata Ryushi
Ishii Hakutei
Fujita Tsuguharu
Face value 15Sen(0.15Yen). The postage was 15Sen during 25 July 1946-31 Mar.1947. The catalogue value of mints is 2,500Yen but used are much more expensive.
I should have made receipts of cigarettes during the transitional period-30th June and 1st July(there was a rise in price). It often escapes my memory but yesterday was "Letter-Writing Day".
The s/s of 1986costs around 8,000Yen.
Fortunately, I was collecting stamps in the same age so I have 1 mint in my stock but if I had made an FDC, it was to have been 13,000Yen.
I liked Dick Bruna a little,
but not very much for the recent stamps.
I made a first day cancel of the s/s of 1997 like this. I'm not sure if a part of the cancellation has to hang over the envelope or not.
The chance for I to start collecting stamps of DPR Korea(North Korea) was this sheetlet commemorating the 50th anniv. of Korean Labours' Party.
The journal of Korean stamp study group arrived.
There was a little change in the national emblem of DPR Korea. The mountain at the back was replaced with Mt.Peaktu where Kim Jong Il was said to be born.
Dr.T.M. is eager in making a complete database of newly issued stamps and stationary of DPRK.
I have the aerogramme of Peng Dehuai in unfolded condition and a commercial cover.
I can spare one if anybody is interested as I have 2 same aerogrammes.
The early stamps are rich in varieties,
but there are some reprints among stamps after 1980s. The early stamps are rich in varieties,
Some of the stamps have varieties in paper. Printed on lucid paper for export, poor paper for domestic use. We have found 70 approx. stamps which have variety in paper.
No gum, no perf. The 2nd Showa Series stamps during WWII are available around 27,000Yen in set of 23. Some of them are in no gum, no perf. and a lot of delays at notifications of issue.
Imperial Order. This stamps was to be printed in light blue but because of the defective contact, printed in gray. Answering the inquiry via GHQ, Japan Post made a retroactive notification that this stamp was issued in 1st April 1945. In fact, the perf. appeared around 15 Apr. and imperf appeared around May and only available at Tokyo.
Nogi Maresuke. Both, no gum. Perf.appeared around May 1945 and imperf. around 17 Mar.
The Great East-Asianism. With gum issued in 1st Dec.1942, no gum appeared around Apr. 1945. This stamp incurred the wrath of General MacArthur, GHQ, as it drew the Philippines islands where he had a humiliating defeat by Imperial Japanese Army.
All of the stamps above became invalid form 31 Aug. 1947.
By happy chance I'm enjoying communicating with stamp collectors at mixi SNS.
There is a community exchanging P-stamps or postages cancelled by illustrated postmarks. Why don't we collect Scenic cancellations oversea, not only of that of Japan? I've bought a bundle of 140Won postcards at South Korea and wrote to several post offices at Korea. I cannot send money by normal mails but 2 or 3 enclosed International Reply Coupon will do. I also bought some full sheets of 200Won. Does anyone want it? 20$+postage.
I'm too lazy to scan all of them but this is Seoul CPO,
A song of more than 5 years ago. I have my own one I bought by myself...

I posted it in 29 June and arrived to Australia in 1 July. EMS is really quick and fast. I did not know that Swan River Stamp Show 2006 is going to be held. I sent 2 exhibits to River City 2006 but I should have sent one to the another one. I am too lazy to go to hospital, but I did go.
As a pre-election campaign, I got a visit from the member of a ward assembly.
As I am no longer a supporter of Japan Communist Party, I only received a free copy of the bulletin "Akahata". She asked I for a subscription and I told her I'll make a reply next month but I was forced to answer immediately. Well, well, well...I told her that more than 70 families live in this apartment.
The first day of July. Can I update my blog everyday again?_God knows.
I created my own language of the imaginary world "Urbanitharnne". Is it too eccentric? Well, there is a progressive rock band "MAGMA", singing in the fanciful language "Kobaia",
